I am so thrilled and proud of my special girl. Niki had a very difficult foaling and faught for her life and won! Upon trying to breed her again, after a year off for recovery and raising her foal, it was noted that she suffered some damage that made me rethink breeding her. She may become a Mom again, but most likely through embryo transfer. When I bought Niki she was supposedly trained to second level and schooling some third level dressage. I never looked more into this since I bought her as a broodmare, it was just an added bonus. Circumstances have brought her to be my once in a lifetime dream riding partner. This is a major testament to this incredible mare as well as Ginger Long, who not only rehabbed my horse, but made her rideable for me to enjoy at the same time! Niki is quite hot by nature, and had to recover from the foaling injury which included nerve damage that affected her left hind. Niki is 11 in 2006 and the Mom of 3 foals which she carried and raised herself. She is already training flying changes and canter and trot half pass. Our wonderful, sweet Niki is by the great keur, Preferent stallion Uniform. Uniform was the champion of his performance test where he dispalyed great versatility recieving a 9.5 for both Dressage and jumping under saddle. He also recieved a 10 for temperment, trainability, and charater. He won all of the under saddle classes he competed in as a 4 and 5 year old. As a producer he has been exceptional. He has 3 approved KWPN sons: Gregor, Highness, and Junior SVT. The later being bred by the same farm as Niki, Stoeterij 't Vierspan.(SVT) A great number of Uniform's offspring are upper level Dressage horses. Some of his more famous offspring include Metallic, Denderos, Hermes 88, as well as the champion mares Desire and Felenza.

Uniform's dam Liris is a Keur, 2x preferent, 2x prestatie mare. She was an attractive Z level dressage horse, and M level jumper in Holland. Her sire, the keur stallion Eros produced a number of prominent Dressage horses and is 10th on the breeding index directly behind his famous preferent sire Amor.

Niki's Dam is the Ster mare Hiesitha by Sit This One Out xx  out of the Ster mare Udensa. Sit This One Out xx has an impressive Thoroughbred ancestry including many of royal calibre. Sit is by Dance In Time out of Pass The Rula. Dance In Time is by Northern Dancer out of a Chop Chop mare. Pass The Rula is by Buckpasser out of a Bold Ruler dam. I really like this blood infusion in Niki's pedigree. The KWPN jury described Sit as intelligent, kind and obedient stallion, a willing and eager worker. He recieved a 9 for both stable maners and temperament. Sit's foaling report states that " His offspring are well-developed, long-lined and perfectly true to type; they have expressive heads, long shoulders, good and solid bones, showing balanced, rhythmical actions with a lot of elasticity generated by well used hindquarters." He also has an approved son, Highline.
